Hello my name is James, and I am 8 years old. This is my blog about my dwarf Russian hamsters called Iggy and Bob. Iggy is my hamster and he is brown in colour and Bob is my sister's white hamster.
My mother chose dwarf Russian Hamsters because they are small and easy to hold and only have small teeth so that if they bite, it does not hurt too much. We chose 2 boy hamsters because they are less likely to fight than girls, and we didn't want to have any baby hamsters in 20-36 days.
Hamsters are nocturnal and that means they are more active at night, which is a real shame because I am in bed when they are most active
